Body Protection

This is the armour used in amatuer competition and sometimes in sparring unlike the coaching versions this is lighter weight and designed to take the sting out of blows not to reduce most of the impact. When buying body protection it is important to buy the correct type for the purpose intended, for example a coach will need body protection that will reduce the impact however a fighter will require protection that takes the sting out of the blow. Popular brands include MTG, Lonsdale and Revgear.
