Thai Kick Pads

Muay Thai Kick Pads are a larger version of focus mitts designed with the thai roundhouse kick in mind alongside the range of knee and elbow strikes used by the Muay Thai Fighter. The best Thai pads are made of 100% cowhide leather and usually made in Thailand. Kick Pads can be straight or curved with the other variation being the type of fastening either velcro or buckle straps. When choosing your muay thai pads think about the size and weight you want aswell as the style of pad. An expert Thai coach will often use a combination of Thai pads, Thai belly protectors and sometimes focus mitt/Thai pads for different drills.
